Shape (spherical in shape)
Surface (Smooth)
Punctum is abscent
Surgical scars
Dilated veins
Palpation
ask first about site of tenderness
Tenderness
Temperature
Constancy (Soft or cystic)
Surface smooth
Edges(well defined)
Not fixed to skin or underling structures
Cross Fluctuation is +ve
Examine the draining lymph node
